I also like the Henry (despite the tube loader) with its sexy brass receiver and octagonal barrel. I like the Marlin for the big loop lever, full length magazine tube, LOADING GATE, and mar-shield finish. I really like the Marlin 1895 SBL and the Henry Golden Boy. What I'm looking for is a traditional looking lever action, so no stainless steel. But I can't decide between the Henry and Marlin. 45-70 for my bear, hog, and deer hunting needs.
